In reality, the difference is quite simple and lies in the amount <strong>of perfume concentrate contained <\/strong>in each of these bottles. Follow us to <strong>understand <\/strong>everything about <strong>the concentration of perfumes <\/strong>and the reasons for these differences.   <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Concretely, what is a perfume composed of?<\/h3>\n\n<p>Before we start talking about <strong>the concentration of perfumes<\/strong>, we should talk about the basic <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=sFkHhMo64AA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">composition <\/a><\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=sFkHhMo64AA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>of<\/strong> <strong>a perfume<\/strong><\/a>. To put it simply, you should know that a perfume is composed of <strong>two different main liquids <\/strong>that mix to constitute the final perfume: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Perfume concentrate <\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n<p>Also called <strong>the essence of perfume,<\/strong>it is the pure and <strong>authentic <\/strong> <strong>recipe <\/strong>specific to each fragrance that perfumers manage to create from the different raw materials used. Perfume <strong>concentrate <\/strong>usually consists of a unique <strong>mixture <\/strong>of natural and <strong>chemical<\/strong> <strong>substances. <\/strong> This concentrate could absolutely not be used as such on the skin and is diluted with the second essential component of perfume that is alcohol.  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Ethyl alcohol<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Ethyl alcohol <\/strong>is the main component of perfumes in terms of concentration. It is present at least 60% and can reach up to 95% in some categories. <strong>Ethyl alcohol <\/strong>is the substance that <strong>dilutes <\/strong>the <strong>perfume concentrate <\/strong>so that it can be applied to the skin.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Its volatility allows it to evaporate a few moments after spraying and lets the <strong>smells of the perfume <\/strong>emerge with serenity. It is <strong>distorted <\/strong>in almost all cases in order to <strong>make its consumption impossible <\/strong>and to fight against the illegal <strong>trafficking of alcohol.<\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n<p>In addition to these two components, some fragrances contain a <strong>slight amount of water <\/strong>and others, even more specific, are created without <strong>alcohol. <\/strong> In the latter case, the <strong>perfume concentrate <\/strong>is diluted in a vegetable oil. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"De quoi est compos\u00e9 un PARFUM ?\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sFkHhMo64AA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The concentration of perfumes differs from one category to another <\/h3>\n\n<p>Now that you know that a fragrance consists mainly of alcohol and concentrate, let&#8217;s take a look at how <strong>the concentration of perfumes <\/strong>is carried out according to the categories, from the least concentrated to the most concentrated.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Colognes, the lightest scented composition <\/h3>\n\n<p><strong>Colognes <\/strong>were widespread during the 18th century. Their light and fresh <strong>smell <\/strong>reflects a clean and <strong>neat<\/strong> <strong>look. <\/strong> Colognes are the <strong>least concentrated<\/strong> <strong>scented compositions. <\/strong> Perfume concentrate constitutes only between 2% and 5% of the total mixture. Everything else being alcohol, they remain very <strong>light <\/strong>and only last for a maximum of 4 hours.     <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When to wear cologne? <\/h3>\n\n<p>Due to their <strong>freshness,<\/strong> <strong>colognes <\/strong>are usually worn in summer to enjoy their solar and <strong>invigorating<\/strong> <strong>character. <\/strong> They are for the vast majority composed of <strong>citrus notes <\/strong>such as <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lesfleursdugolfe.com\/la-bergamote-en-parfumerie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">bergamot<\/a><\/strong>or <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lesfleursdugolfe.com\/la-fleur-doranger-en-parfumerie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">orange blossom<\/a><\/strong>or <strong>mandarin.<\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n<p>These <strong>tangy notes <\/strong>are known for their <strong>volatility <\/strong>and <strong>lightness.<\/strong> You can also find <strong>notes of jasmine <\/strong>or <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.passeportsante.net\/fr\/Solutions\/PlantesSupplements\/Fiche.aspx?doc=lavande_ps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lavender<\/a><\/strong>in some colognes, and more recently, <strong>marine notes <\/strong>that remind you of the pleasure of a swim in the middle of a sunny day.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Toilet water, a slightly higher concentration<\/h3>\n\n<p>In third place after <strong>colognes,<\/strong>come eau de Toilette. These have a concentration between 7 and 12%, the rest being alcohol. They are also full of <strong>freshness <\/strong>and <strong>lightness <\/strong>and consist of various <strong>hesperid <\/strong>or <strong>floral<\/strong>notes. Their resistance remains, moreover, limited in time because of the low <strong>concentration of the essence <\/strong>that composes them.
